Rovers vs challengers

Classes are designed for climbers of all levels, new or experienced, seeking a fun and social environment to climb. We focus on teaching the fundamental principles and techniques of climbing, building a strong base of knowledge that participants can further develop in our Challengers program. The primary goals of this class are to cultivate a passion for climbing, gain confidence both navigating the gym and while on the wall, and above all, gym safety! Participants will have a chance to try both bouldering (climbing without ropes), and top roping (climbing with a harness and rope). All needed gear including shoes, harness, and chalk are included in the program.
Rovers

An advanced climbing program designed for experienced climbers who are looking to refine their skills and enhance their athletic performance. This program will delve deeper into various climbing techniques and integrate dedicated fitness training. Participants will have the opportunity to set personal goals and track their progress throughout the session. To maximize their development, we strongly encourage participants to visit the gym for independent practice at least one additional time per week outside of the scheduled classes.
*Please note, participants are expected to have completed either our Rovers program or a comparable program at a different facility. For authorization of another gyms program please contact youthprograms@gravityclimbinggym.com

FAQ
Do you offer trial classes?
No, we do not offer trials or drop-in classes. If your child is new to climbing, we highly recommend bringing them in on a Day Pass before registering for a program. Please note that refunds will not be issued after the registration deadline if your child decides not to continue with the program. For more information on climbing options please click here.
Does my child need to bring any gear?
No, all necessary rental gear, including shoes, harnesses, and chalk, are included in your child's program. We have a water fountain available, but we suggest bringing a water bottle to keep on hand.
Do I need to stay in the gym while my child is in class?
No, classes are fully supervised by coaches. You are welcome to stay and watch your child, however we've found that most kids tend to have a better time when their parents drop them off. They're better able to integrate with the group and commit to the experience!
Does my child have to attend on their scheduled day, or can they attend any day the same program is running?
Your child must attend class on the specific day of the week they are registered for. We have a set number of participants for each class to ensure it's not overcrowded, and our coaching staff is scheduled based on those numbers.
Can I drop my child off to climb alone on days they do not have class?
Climbers under the age of 13 need to be directly supervised by an adult who is 18 years or older. Climbers aged 13+ may be dropped off and climb without supervision.
