facility
Welcome to gravity niagara
-
Gravity Niagara is a bouldering gym. There are no ropes or harnesses. The walls are 4.5m tall, with ample athletic padding beneath.
-
Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the facility, neither are bare feet. Climbing shoes are mandatory for all climbers, and are available for rent. Please bring a pair of indoor shoes or sandals to wear in the facility.
-
We have climbing suitable for kids (yes, even little ones! 5 years is a good general minimum age), however all customers 13 years of age and younger must be directly supervised by an accompanying parent or adult caregiver. Maximum of 3 children to 1 supervising adult.
-
All visitors (including spectators) must sign our release form. Climbers under 18 years old must have the form signed by their own parent. Relatives, caregivers, and adult friends cannot sign.

-
We have over 100 modern boulder problems to climb.
-
Each problem follows one colour, with start & finish holds marked with tape.
-
New boulders are set every week!
-
Grades range from G- to G10, so we've got something for the newest beginner to the advanced climber
-
We have two Tension training walls, at 20 and 40 degrees.
-
Upstairs workout space with weights, cardio machines and climbing specific equipment
-
We have washrooms for men & women, as well as a gender-neutral, wheelchair accessible washroom.
-
We also have gender neutral changerooms.
-
Our facility is not equipped with showers.
etiquette
-
Bare feet are not allowed in the facility. Please bring indoor footwear to wear off the wall.
-
We strongly encourage climbers to brush the boulders. We have many extendable brushes available to help clean holds high on the wall. Brushing increases the friction on holds, and make for a more enjoyable experience climbing. No one likes a greasy hold! Brushing is a responsible part of climbing, whether indoors or out.
-
We allow powdered and liquid chalk in the facility. Please be conscious of chalk dust and spills, and report such spills to the gym staff.
-
Please don't spray beta! Part of the fun of bouldering is figuring out how to solve problems with your own body, so please ask other climbers if they want advice before offering your two cents. That said, feel free to ask other climbers for their tips, tricks, and beta -- climbers love talking about climbing.
